I spent 10 days in Myanmar documenting the story of tea with the founder of Burma inc and his team. We spent one of those days visiting a small tea village called Namhsan, in Shan State. Burma inc works with farmers to grow the tea that’s served in their restaurants and products for the shelves at Whole Foods . Due to the civil war this area is closed off to tourist but because of the relationship Burma inc has with the village we were allowed in.
